Deleveraging remains a top China policy priority, but is all the more difficult to implement in the increasingly volatile global economic environment. As defaults increase, government support evolves, and new funding instruments arise, what might be the credit implications and impact to the China economy? Join us as S&P gives us deeper visibility into the credit challenges and the options to address them. Speakers

Ryan Tsang
Managing Director & Analytical Manager, Financial Institutions Ratings Group of S&P Global Ratings
Ryan Tsang is a Managing Director and Analytical Manager in the Financial Institutions Ratings group. Based in Hong Kong, Ryan leads a team of analysts that evaluate the credit quality of financial institutions in China, Hong Kong, Korea and Mongolia.

Before taking his current position, Ryan was an Analytical Manager responsible for major financial institutions ratings in Asia-Pacific. Previously, he led the Greater China Corporate and Financial Services Ratings teams. He has extensive analytical experience in assigning credit ratings in the Greater China region.

Before joining S&P Global Ratings in 2000, Ryan spent more than eight years with KPMG in the U.K. and Hong Kong as an audit manager in the banking group.

Ryan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Accountancy.

Chang Li
Country Lead and Director of S&P Global Ratings
Chang Li joins the China corporate ratings team as Country Lead and Director. Based in Beijing, Chang will work with ratings team to expand our research and outreach in the local market.

Before joining S&P, Chang spent over ten years on onshore financial market, engaging in various kinds of role including trading, research, and investment management. Chang holds an MBA degree from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He is also a CFA charter holder and a member of CFA Institute
