2018 Summer Mixer: Jazz Night on the Bund

AmCham Shanghai is pleased to invite you to our Summer Mixer on Wednesday, August 29, from 18:30–20:30 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Shanghai. The event was launched in 2017, during the 30th anniversary celebrations of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York and brings jazz to fans in Shanghai. The performance will begin at 19:00, please plan accordingly. This romantic Jazz evening will be a great opportunity to network, socialize and have fun with fellow members.

Sachal Vasandani is recognized for his singular voice, with a tone and unique phrasing that mark him as one of the most compelling voices on the scene today. His deeply creative approach to improvisation across changes and time signatures is as unique as it is disciplined, and he has come to be regarded as one of the greatest vocal improvisors. His 2011 release, Hi-Fly, reached #1 on the iTunes Jazz charts. Produced by John Clayton, it also featured vocal legend Jon Hendricks.

The price of admission includes one special summer cocktail and two glasses of wine. In addition, all our attendees will get a special discount of 15% at Jazz at Lincoln Center if you want to make any additional orders.
