The domestic China insurance sector has experienced significant growth over the last decade. The recent announcements of financial sector opening should further trigger investment opportunities for foreign institutions in this dynamic market. Please join AmCham Shanghai's Financial Services Committee and Brinton Scott (Managing Partner, Winston & Strawn) on July 13th from 12:00 to 13:30 at AmCham Shanghai Office as he guides you through the evolution of this fascinating industry, its prospects and risks.

The Financial Services Committee serves as the primary body within AmCham Shanghai dealing with matters relating to financial services and provides for a community of Multinational Banks, In-House Financiers, Insurance Companies and increasingly more PE, Hedgefunds, and start-ups. The Committee's mission is to obtain and exchange information, discuss relevant issues, share resources, access contacts, and source business opportunities with the financial services community. Key initiatives include acting as the interface to the government, regulators and industry, as well as advising and educating AmCham Shanghai members on issues relating to the industry. Under the broader committee sits the CFO Forum and Financial Services Technology Working Group.
