In this course, you'll learn how result-oriented management works at various levels and what kinds of agreements have to be made:

· at activity level (e.g. keeping the workplace neat)

· at results level (e.g. realizing an agreed turnover)

· at effect level (e.g. sustainable employable staff)

You always begin by asking yourself the following: does the agreement fit the responsibilities of the employee? Result oriented agreements should always be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound. You'll learn how to focus on the responsibilities of your employees when making these mutual agreements. And you'll learn how to get people to commit. You achieve this when employees realize how useful and challenging the agreement is, have a vested interest in the agreement, and know what is expected of them. You'll also learn to make your coworkers aware of the consequences of (not) sticking to the agreement.

In this course, you'll be working on managing your employees as opposed to focusing, and keeping tabs, on the implementation. You'll focus on areas of responsibility rather than on single tasks. You'll come to effective, result oriented agreements and learn how to realize a good collaboration between your coworkers. You'll have a targeted approach and learn to deal with pitfalls and solutions.

This course on coping with difficult people is designed for those who have trouble with people who:

· take without giving anything in return

· say "yes" but mean "no"

· meddle in everything

· always come late

· always interrupt you

· always know better
