The event will be held on June 28 from 14:00-16:00 at AmCham Shanghai Trade and Investment Center. Sanpower is the largest mainland Chinese employer in the UK, and has large investments in the United States and Israel. Sanpower therefore presents itself as a test case for the performance of Chinese investments overseas. Reputation management and corporate communications are central to tackling misunderstandings, and in some cases perceived prejudice on a macro-level. Faced with a difficult trading environment, one of Sanpower's subsidiaries has experienced a challenging time with the British press. Crisis management considerations have been the front and center for Sanpower in terms of press relations, and internal communications.
