Event Details

Good health is key to peak performance and quality life regardless of gender. What we do see, however, is that while women are busy with their careers and caring for their family at home, they often neglect their own health and well-being. With all that they juggle, they often overlook important screenings--and mental burnout is as prevalent as physical burnout.

To improve this phenomenon, please join AmCham Shanghai's Healthcare Committee and Women's Executive Network on Thursday, May 24, from 8:00-10:00am at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Room for a joint event learning practical knowledge on women's health. The event aims to build awareness around what women should be paying attention to physically and mentally, and to encourage women to think about how they might approach self-care for both physical and mental resilience to manage stress and drive growth.

During this event, our physicians will cover:

  • General women's health; when to get screenings; how to avoid getting sick, etc.
  • Mental health and mindfulness
  • Heart health and prevention of strokes, encompassing suggestions for exercise, diet, etc.
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
