Leadership topics covered:
 
  • The path to career success: How to clearly define career goals that bring out the best in you. This topic provides a clear roadmap that shows a strategic direction, as well as the detailed steps to get there based on your personality. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach as the plan is built around your unique behavior pattern and skill set.
 
  • Problem solving and fearless decision making: This topic provides an effective framework to solve daily work challenges from different angles to find the best solutions and make fearless decisions.
 
  • Communicate to Influence: How to influence others in a respectful and thoughtful manner to get things done. Communication can be a formal presentation or even an informal chat with your boss.
 
  • Special Session! A senior corporate leader and a top entrepreneur will share their experiences in a special session to inspire!

    Jeff Tan

    Your workshop leader is Jeff Tan, Chief Trainer and Coach at REV, and founder / Learning Innovator of the Sticky
    Steps brand of learning products.
    Jeff spent the first 26 years of his working life as a Singapore Air Force helicopter pilot, and was exposed to
    leadership development from a very young age. He often says, “I was forced to become a leader overnight” as
    there was no time to slowly grow into the role — which means he discovered the best tips and tools to make
    it happen!
    Jeff left Singapore to start a thrilling new life in Shanghai in 2006 and has worked with leaders of all levels, from
    the very top level, all the way to young future leaders. What did he learn from all of them? Leadership is a skill
    to learn, and anyone can grow into an amazing leader with the right guidance and tools!
    Among his many corporate clients, he’s delighted to have worked with the CEO and entire management team
    from Porsche China, the top 60 leaders of PepsiCo China, and COOs, CFOs, GMs and MDs from Novartis,
    Siemens, Ubisoft, Volvo, Zara, eBay, and L’Oreal, to name but a few.

Registration

  • All registrations shall be made online before the session. For full-day sessions, payment also shall be made before the session.
  • For half-day sessions, AmCham Shanghai members are eligible to attend free of charge with Training Credit*; AmCham Shanghai members without Training Credit are eligible to attend at “Member Rate”; Employees who work at AmCham Shanghai member companies are eligible to attend at "Employee Rate".
  • For full-day sessions, AmCham Shanghai members are eligible to attend at “Member Rate”; Employees who work at AmCham Shanghai member companies are eligible to attend at “Employee Rate”; Non-members are eligible to attend at “Non-Member Rate”.
  • Limited spaces are available and attendance will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Members please bring your membership card and non-members bring your business card upon check-in at the training session.
Walk-in and Cancellation Policy
  • This session requires confirmation of attendance in advance. If you attend this session without prior registration, you will be charged an RMB50 "walk-in" fee as member and RMB100 as employee.
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration for a half-day session, please notify Ivette Corominas at (86 21) 6279 7119 ext. 5671 or email ivette.corominas@amcham-shanghai.org no less than 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel your registration for a full-day session, please notify Ivette Corominas at least two weeks prior to the session for a full refund. Cancellation made within two weeks before the session will not be refundable.
  • To ensure that you have a seat, please come to the session on time. Open seats will be released to other guests 15 minutes after the session starts.
