AmCham Shanghai is pleased to present a talk by Linden Centre Founder, Brian Linden, on April 24, 2018 from 12:00 to 13:30 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. Mr. Linden will provide insights on how he partners with local community leaders and government officials to preserve historical buildings and create successful boutique hotels as well as creating meaningful cultural programs for visitors.


Opened in 2007, the Linden Centre in Dali pioneered the model of restoring historical buildings into boutique hotels that emphasize cultural sustainability, heritage protection and provide opportunities for guests to interact with the local community and explore China’s past. Since then, similar properties from high-end hotel brands to small entrepreneurs have opened throughout China.
