AmCham Shanghai’s Automotive Committee, in partnership with Manufacturers' Business Council (MBC), invites you to visit the new SAIC General Motors Cadillac Plant on Tuesday, November 21st from 7:30 - 11:30 AM as we travel from Shanghai Center to the factory located at 1500 Shen Jiang Road, Jinqiao, Pudong.

Established on June 12, 1997, SAIC General Motors (SGM) is a joint venture between SAICMOTOR and General Motors. SGM has four major manufacturing bases, Jinqiao in Pudong, Dongyue in Yantai, Norsom in Shenyang and Wuhan base as well as 9 vehicle plants and 4 powertrain plants, covering the luxury, compact, sedan, MPV, and SUV segments, as well as hybrid and electric vehicles.

The New Jinqiao Factory is dedicated to the production of SGM's Cadillac line of vehicles. Opened in January 2016, the Cadillac Plant integrates GM's traditional quality control with advanced robotics and cutting-edge aluminium welding technology.
