AmCham Shanghai’s Future Leaders Committee (FLC) is pleased to invite you to join a Salon on Monday, November 6th from 18:00–19:30 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. Future Leaders Committee Salons provide a platform for young professionals in AmCham Shanghai’s community to share experiences, network and develop long-term business leadership skills.

This Salon will share a startup journey, from concept to execution and business growth featuring Jay Thornhill, co-founder of Baopals, an online retail platform. Jay will present challenges that entrepreneurs and new businesses face from starting a business, to growing that business. The Salon is not limited to entrepreneurs – it is open to all participants who may face similar challenges when facing and executing new ideas in their organizations. There is no universal answer to entrepreneurial success. Jay will share lessons he has learned from his turbulent startup journey.

Topics for this event will include:
- Capital raising for startups
- Selecting the right product
- Building up the right team
- Employee engagement and activation

Please note that this event is open to all AmCham Shanghai Members under the age of 35.
