Todd has developed FCPA and anti-corruption compliance programs, conducted FCPA investigations in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Singapore and various other jurisdictions in Asia Pacific region, and counseled multinational clients regarding local law issues in connection with such investigations, including without limitation to compliance with local laws regarding state secrecy, data privacy, evidence preservation, employment disciplinary actions, due diligence and investigations relating to potential FCPA violations of third party agents and joint venture partners, responding to local government investigations and enforcement actions.
Todd's antitrust practice encompasses a wide scope of work including antitrust filing for mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, reviewing relationships with distributors and competitors, handling regulatory compliance and providing antitrust law training. His clients include multinational corporations investing or trading in China as well as Chinese enterprises engaging in cross-border transactions. He has experience in manufacturing, energy, mining and other industries.
Todd also frequently conducts FCPA and local anti-corruption law compliance training in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and Shanghainese dialect.
