AmCham Shanghai’s Entrepreneurship Committee and Sorority China invite you to join an exclusive dialogue on Women Founders of the Future on Wednesday, November 15 from 16:00 – 18:00 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Room, followed by drinks and networking opportunities.

Over the last decade the number of female-led businesses around the world has more than doubled*. Nearly 20% of start-ups are founded by women. In the technology sector, China is now ahead of the U.S. and the U.K., with a 74% ratio of female to male leadership.

What does this tell us about the future? What are the challenges and opportunities that women will face as they seek to build start-ups, scale their businesses, and eventually lead large companies from the top?

This event will bring together accomplished women CEOs and start-up founders to help share their experience and thoughts on the future. There will be discussion on the challenges as well as opportunities that women founders will face, and offer practical advice on how to scale and lead from the top.

Yvonne holds EMBA from University of Southern California-Marshall Business School, Bachelor of Accounting and Finance Degree from California State University, and is a qualified Certified Public Accountant-California, USA. Before joining Hearst Corporation, she was CFO/VP for Shared Services Center of Reed Exhibition, a world number one exhibition organizer.

    Hearst Media China affects millions of audiences on the basis of the total circulation of more than 12 million magazines audience per month; also on new media platforms including APPs, social media, TV, web, etc. Hearst Media China is highly influential in high-end female audiences and plays a leading role in digital fashion media.
