Executive Summary:
The Suzhou Center HR Conference strives to provide foreign ventures’ executives in China an overview of the next generation of global leaders companies need to lead the business in China. The conference will take place on Thursday, October 19, 13:30-16:45.
The conference will start with a speech on the strategic view into how multinationals are preparing and restructuring their global talent pool in a competitive environment of rising costs and constant battle for talent. Following the opening speech, there will be a discussion on how multinationals diversify leadership to business goals in China on a regional, national and global level.
Wilson Wang, General Manager from Caterpillar Suzhou, will share his experiences and insights from a business perspective on what kind of leaders foreign ventures need in the Chinese market and how can local talents strive to lead with a global vision.
Shirley Gu, VP of HR North Asia from Vesuvius Zyarock Ceramis Suzhou, will share case studies on planning and reality, and case studies on how to help grow the next generation of global leaders with the below key points.
Joy Zhang, HR Director, Talent Acquisition & Development from PPG Industries, will share the frame to target, allocate and develop talent fit for the new business requirements with cases on successful and not so successful successors.
