    Jay Boyle

    Founder and Managing Partner of ECFO Service Ltd

    Jay Boyle is the founder and managing partner of “ECFO Service Ltd” and founder and managing director of software startup “Decision Modeling Systems LTD”.
    Jay’s experiences in Asia over the past 20 years span start-ups, turnaround and
    pre and post transaction work in manufacturing, sourcing, service, food and beverage industries. He specializes in providing a cross functional approach to financial, accounting, strategic and operational support to companies building businesses in Asia. Jay implements controls, diligence, ERP, product costing programs, develops strategic initiatives, and designs expansion plans and advises on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
    A “jack of all trades”, Jay has over 35 years of business, manufacturing, industrial rigging, salvage, logistics, start-up, accounting and finance roles. He was a cofounder and later the controller of Kuhl Clothing, a U.S. outdoor brand and served as start-up and later CFO for Dura-Line China, The Jordan Company’s first private equity investment in China. Dura-Line was a telecom duct systems provider that built China’s first fiber networks in the 1990’s. Since ECFO’s founding in 2001, Jay has provided ongoing advisory to over 120 companies and has worked on over 50 transactions.
    Jay has been a lecturer at the University of Arizona Thunderbird Graduate School of International Business and has published articles on doing business in China. Jay holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science from State University of New York at Fort Schuyler and a US Merchant Mariner’s Third Mate’s Unlimited Oceans Tonnage License.
    Jay serves on the board of directors of ACG, the Association of Corporate Growth, a middle market private equity association. He is a member of AmCham Shanghai and the Asia and Transformation and Turnaround Association.

    Daniel Galimberti

    Partner and Head Manager at ECFO’s Accounting Outsourcing

    Daniel Galimberti is a partner and head manager for ECFO’s accounting outsourcing.
    Originally from Los Angeles, California, Daniel has been working in accounting since 2003. In 2006, Daniel arrived in Shanghai on a government grant to research GAAP differences between the two countries in which he then later joined ECFO in 2007.
    Daniel’s specialties are in cost-accounting, financial reporting, financial planning, accounting-start up, financial controls, internal audits, and GAAP financial compliance. Daniel has also worked on financial due diligence and has financial modeled for several companies. Daniel routinely provides financial statement analysis for clients and has worked on a variety of industries including trading, manufacturing, internet services, food and beverage, and consulting services.
    Daniel holds a BA in Accountancy from California State University Northridge and performed his research grant with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He is a Certified Management Accountant with the Institute of Management Accountants and an active member with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a native English speaker and has professional proficiency in Spanish and Chinese.

    Crystal Zhang

    Head of Finance at Wisdom Educational Products

    Crystal Zhang is a Big-4 trained professional with nearly 18 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance management. Started with KPMG in Australia for several years, she took a position as the Asia Pacific Shared Services Manager for a large Australian Steel company in Shanghai. She led the project team to success in process re-engineering, outsourcing contacts and internal control. Under her leadership, the team grew from 1 to 80 people. It had achieved a cost savings of well over half a million dollars.
    In 2008, Crystal moved to Canada and began working for public mining companies. She gained valuable experience with capital management, corporate governance and public reporting, accounting process integration, etc. She held senior positions within the finance department and set up joint venture agreements and practice for mining projects. Crystal was also the finance function leader for M&A and post-merger integration.
    Currently, Crystal is the Head of Finance for Wisdom Educational Products based in Shanghai. Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with the University of Finance and Economics in China, a master’s degree in Commerce with University of Sydney in Australia. She is a member of CPA Australia and a committee member of CPA Australia Shanghai branch.
