随着人口老龄化趋势加速，老年人多元化、差异化、个性化的需求变得愈加旺盛和迫切，却尚未得到有效满足，这其中蕴含着巨大的发展机遇。而银发经济的出现，亦是对当今情势的极佳应对。 银发经济被界定为向老年人提供产品或服务，以及为老龄阶段做准备等一系列经济活动的总和。银发经济覆盖面广，现阶段相关产业主要集中在餐饮、护理、保健等基础养老服务方面。作为养老行业的先行者，泰康在2009年率先获得保险机构投资养老社区的试点资格。泰康之家·吴园坐落于国家级旅游度假区苏州阳澄湖半岛的中心，与有着一千五百多年历史的重元寺隔湖相望。吴园总占地面积约23.2万平米，可提供约1600个养老单元，并配置一家二级康复医院，提供"独立生活、协助生活、专业护理、记忆照护"等多种服务业态。

AmCham Shanghai Suzhou Center cordially invites you to join the Deepening the Silver Economy and Building an Ecological Closed Loop – A Visit to Taikang Community - Wu,on February 28 (Friday), from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Taikang Community - Wu.

As the trend of population aging accelerates, the diverse, differentiated, and personalized needs of the elderly have become increasingly urgent and prominent, yet they remain inadequately met. This presents significant development opportunities. The emergence of the "silver economy" is an excellent response to the current situation. The silver economy is defined as the sum of economic activities that provide products or services to the elderly, as well as preparations for the aging phase. The silver economy covers many sectors, with related industries currently focused on basic elderly care services such as dining, nursing, and healthcare. As a pioneer in the elderly care industry, Taikang was the first to obtain pilot qualifications for insurance institutions to invest in elderly care communities in 2009. Taikang Community - Wu is located in the center of Yangcheng Lake Peninsula, a national tourist resort in Suzhou, facing the ancient Chongyuan Temple, which has a history of over 1,500 years, across the lake. Wuyuan covers a total area of approximately 232,000 square meters, offering about 1,600 elderly care units. It is also equipped with a secondary rehabilitation hospital, providing a variety of service models such as "independent living, assisted living, professional nursing, and memory care.
