AmCham Shanghai's Tax Committee invites you to join a webinar presentation on the Top US Tax Compliance Issues for Expatriates in China on April 1st from 14:00-15:00 via AmCham webinar.
US taxation of individuals living abroad is complex, to say the least. Whether you are new to China or have been here for most of your career, understanding US tax law remains a mystery to even the most seasoned expatriates. In this webinar, leading US tax professionals will provide an overview of, and their practical insights on, the top US tax compliance issues for US expatriates living in China. Topics of discussion will include not only the basics of filing deadlines (including the recently announced extension to pay taxes) and applicable exchange rates for RMB income but also an overview of more complex issues such as the foreign tax credit, foreign income exclusion, and taxation of income generated by Chinese and Hong Kong companies owned by expatriates. Join us for this webinar, which will include a brief Q&A segment following the main presentation.
Moderator: David Allgaier, Deloitte Tax Partner and Chair of the AmCham Tax Committee
๏ปฟSpeakers:
- Jane Cheung, PwC Tax Partner
- Shirley Zheng, PwC Tax Senior Manager
