The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Suzhou Center cordially invites you to join the Suzhou GM Networking | Understanding the Timing and Trend of China's Economic Timing and Trend through the 15th Five-Year Plan, on April 21 (Tuesday), from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the W Hotel Suzhou.

2026 marks the first year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period. In the Plan, the next five years are defined as "a time fraught with both strategic opportunities, risks, and challenges, as well as growing uncertainties and unpredictable factors." For multinational corporations, understanding the current "timing" (ๆ—ถ) of the Chinese economy and assessing the "trend" (ๅŠฟ) that will shape its development over the next five years are essential for formulating effective China market strategies.

This session will explore the following topics:

  • The historical trajectory and current state of the Chinese economy
  • US-China competition and geopolitical environment for China's economic development
  • Key takeaways from the 15th Five-Year Plan
  • The direction of China's economic development over the next five years
  • Implications for MNCs' China market strategies

Note: This event is open only to companies' general managers and above.
