The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is excited to invite you to our Corporate Basketball Tournament on Saturday, May 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at NYU Shanghai. This event is part of our celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, which will culminate in a 250th Birthday Gala on Saturday, June 13, at The St. Regis Shanghai Jing'an.
This annual tournament brings together corporate teams and organizations, along with family and friends, to enjoy some friendly rivalry, a sense of camaraderie, a chance to grow your professional network, and the opportunity to win great prizes over a game of basketball!

Format and Team Entry Details:
- 5 v 5: each team must have a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 12 players
- Registration is open to teams only, not individual players
- Tournament will be a round robin style with knockout stages, with each team guaranteed at least 2 games
- Players must be full-time employees of the company/organization registering their team
- Players must be over 18 years old
Ticket Information:
- Member company group ticket (for a minimum of 7 players to a maximum of 12 players): RMB 5,000
- Non-member company group ticket (for a minimum of 7 players to a maximum of 12 players): RMB 8,000
- Ticket includes: Lunch, water, soft drinks and snacks
Instructions:
- Only company group tickets are available (individual tickets are not available for purchase)
- Each company may register up to two teams
- The total number of teams is limited to 10
- Both member and non-member companies are welcome to participate
- Companies are responsible for providing medical insurance coverage for their team members
