Paul Lin is a senior consultant in the field of Digital Marketing and Branding, working with multinationals and entrepreneurs in China on their strategy and growth plans. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor at NYU Shanghai and SKEMA Business School.
Paul started his career at a start-up during the first wave of the Dot Com Internet. He fell in love with technology and carried that passion to world-class 4A Marketing agencies in North America and China. He’s worked for DDB, BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and WPP on creating award-winning consumer campaigns.
Paul has worked across multiple categories for the best brands in the world like Unilever, P&G and PepsiCo. He is passionate about the strategic process and specializes in crafting marketing solutions that solve commercial business problems. When Paul is not in the office, he’s immersed in the digital community helping start-ups and young people grow.
Paul is a mentor at Orbit Startup, one of Asia’s largest VCs based out of Shanghai and Taipei. He sits on the Board of 3 start-ups, leads Digital Transformation for ATTA, and is a Senior Advisor to the Marketing Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. He currently teaches Marketing and Communication at NYU Shanghai in their School of Professional Studies Program and with the SKEMA Business School in Paris. He hosts 2 digital podcast shows where he interviews knowledge experts to gather insights and showcase them to his audience.
Paul is a leader, collaborator, and advocates for great ideas. He’s lived in the US and Canada and now calls Shanghai home with his wife, newborn son and 2 cats.
