Thanks to a healthy post-outbreak recovery beginning in April, China's overall auto sales declined only 2% in 2020, with commercial vehicle sales setting an all-time annual sales record. Entering 2021, China remains the global leader in new car sales, with particularly strong growth in new energy vehicle (NEV) sales. As NEV propulsion systems become more common, so too do new smart connected and self-driving features, with such technologies commercializing faster in China than in other markets.
AmCham Shanghai's Automotive Committee invites you to our Look Back, Look Ahead event on February 3rd from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the AmCham Xintiandi Conference center.
