About

Influence shapes which brands people buy from, how careers are built, and where money is invested. It has always been a powerful currency โ€” and now every individual has more tools than ever before to build it. The question is no longer whether you can build it, but how and why.

Join the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Future Leaders Committee on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in our office. The Business of Influence brings together a diverse panel of practitioners who've built it, sold it, and bought it: content creators who've turned audience into business, brand founders who've made themselves the face of what they sell, and corporate professionals who've become a trusted voice in their field.

Together they'll pull back the curtain on how influence is actually built, maintained, and monetized โ€” why it matters more than ever, and how to develop it deliberately whether you're an entrepreneur, a corporate professional, or somewhere in between.
