Event Details

On May 14, the US government announced a new round of significant tariffs on Chinese imports in key sectors such as steel, semiconductors, electric vehicles, batteries, solar cells, shipping cranes, and medical products. These new tariffs could profoundly impact the US-China trade relationship, potentially ushering in a new era of uncertainty.

To provide our members with an in-depth analysis of the potential effects of these tariffs, AmCham Shanghai has organized a panel discussion with US-China and technology experts. This event will take place from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on May 23 at the AmCham Shanghai conference center.

Our esteemed panelists include Paul Triolo, Partner for China and Technology Policy Lead at Albright Stonebridge Group, and Han Lin, Country Head at The Asia Group.

Join us for this off-the-record discussion on the US-China relationship, US tariffs, and the US-China technology competition.
