The stock of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in China is the world's largest, with cumulative sales of more than 951,000 units through 2016. By 2020, the country is expected to account for more than 50% of the global electric bus market. One of the most important reasons for the booming NEVs market is the political support from the Chinese central government.

AmCham Shanghai’s Trade & Investment Center cordially invites you to this event on April 26 from 14:00-16:00 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. The following representatives from Changzhou as well as international & domestic enterprises will be present at the event:
  • Mr. Xiaoming Shen申晓明, Deputy Director General, Investment Promotion Department of Wujin National Hi-Tech Industrial Zone will deliver the opening remarks and provide an overview of Wujin National Hi-Tech Industrial Zone.
  • Ms. Liping Xu徐丽萍, Division Chief, European & American Division, Investment Promotion Department of Wujin National Hi-Tech Industrial Zone, will introduce the favorable policies and investment environment of Wujin National Hi-Tech Industrial Zone.
  • Mr. Shi Yan闫实, General Manager, Stackpole Engineered Products (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., will showcase a case study documenting their development experience in Wujin.
  • Mr. Owen Dong董崎, General Manager, Chehejia(车和家) will share their success stories in Wujin.

The SOP of Phase 1 will be in November 2017 and CHEHEJIA will start the construction of Phase 2 in the middle of 2017.
