Yifei Zhang leads Control Risks’ China business. He manages our strategic relationships in China, coordinating teams and resources around the world. He helps our clients understand and mitigate the risks they face in China’s ever-changing environment, enabling them to stay resilient and seize opportunities both within the country and more broadly.

Yifei has extensive experience providing multinational companies and investors with solutions in China across business strategy, market and business intelligence, and compliance reviews. He has worked with numerous multinational clients on investigations into compliance breaches, responding to extortive whistleblowers, and crisis management and negotiation planning for companies facing restructuring.

Yifei also supports Chinese companies with risk management planning for outbound projects, evaluating new business partners, and resolving business disruption and complex security matters overseas. He helps clients identify and prepare for varied risks in a global environment, improving and evaluating their security management, training programmes and market entry approaches.

He has worked closely with clients across the ICT, financial services, automotive and healthcare sectors.

Liu Bo possesses profound macroeconomic insights and extensive experience in regional economic development, assisting governments in formulating economic plans, urban strategies, and industrial strategies. He also has rich experience in corporate strategy consulting, helping companies develop long-term strategies, transform business models, expand globally, and create investment and merger strategies.

Jianlin Ni is a senior partner at Dentons Shanghai and holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of International Business and Economics. He has previously served at the Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Commission and as a partner at several renowned law firms.

He was the leader of the third senior talent overseas training group at the Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center, where he received three months of training at the EU and WTO headquarters. In 2007, he was named one of the Top 10 Outstanding Young Lawyers in Pudong New Area. In 2014, he was awarded the Lujiazui Rule of Law Forum Person of the Year Award. In October 2018, as a national leader in foreign-related legal services, he received one month of training in international trade and cross-border investment law at the American Society of International Law. In 2018, he was recognized as an Outstanding Lawyer in China's Business Law sector. For five consecutive years, he has been listed as a leading lawyer in WTO/International Trade by the prominent legal rating agency Legal 500. He is also a leader in foreign-related legal services, recognized by the Ministry of Justice. In 2023, he was named the Annual Figure of the Year by the Pudong International Chamber of Commerce.

Currently, he also serves as a part-time legal advisor to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chair of the International Law Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, a member of the Fair Trade Expert Database of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, a member of the International Commercial Law Expert Database of the Zhejiang Provincial Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Expert Database of the Wuxi International Commercial Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property Service Center, and a member of the Dingxin Rule of Law Talent Database in Shanghai. He is also a part-time professor and master's supervisor at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, a part-time professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and an arbitrator for several arbitration institutions, including the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen International Arbitration Court, and the Shanghai Arbitration Commission.

Jianlin Ni has extensive experience in international trade and anti-dumping, trade compliance, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, and international commercial dispute resolution. He is an expert in international trade law and has been dedicated to resolving various international trade disputes, representing dozens of domestic companies in foreign anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations. He has provided export control and economic sanctions compliance services to dozens of large trade and high-tech manufacturing enterprises. In the high-profile EU photovoltaic anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation, he represented several large photovoltaic companies as well as government-appointed lawyers.

Mr. Ye is the General Manager of Marketing Department of Lead Intelligent Equipment, bringing over fifteen years of experience in marketing and business management. He oversees global marketing operations and has consistently dedicated himself to helping enterprises achieve growth and success in this digitally-driven and highly competitive market landscape. By providing innovative marketing solutions, he empowers clients to stand out in the digital era and maintain a competitive edge.

Mr Yang Fei, co-founder of OceanStone, has over twelve years of experience in investment and entrepreneurship. He was awarded the "Top 30 Service Providers in Global Business Expansion" by Equal Ocean in 2024. Previously, he was an investment partner at Bailianzhigao Capital. He joined to found Sky9 Capital, where he contributed to its growth into a mainstream institution managing over $2 billion AUM. Notable exits and listings include QingCloud (SH:688316), Ezbuy (NYSE:LITB) and 51WORLD (to be listed in HK). Earlier in his career, Mr. Yang worked for Israel's Infinity Capital Group, facilitating the localisation of global high-tech projects in China. He started his career at PwC, where he participated in several IPO projects and audited dozens of multinational companies. Mr Yang holds a Bachelor of Laws from Fudan University and a Master of International Business Administration from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Chloe has extensive experience in the cross-border payments industry. During her decade-long years at PayPal, she led several critical projects that successfully helped major merchants optimize payment processes, enhance user experience, and improve transaction success rates. Her professional expertise and practical experience have enabled her to excel in managing large merchants, effectively resolving complex payment challenges and ensuring smooth transaction processing.

Currently, Chloe primarily oversees market expansion and operational management for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). She is committed to helping business owners identify growth opportunities in global markets, starting with providing tailored payment solutions that best suit their needs. Her support extends to leveraging buyer market insights from PayPal's two-sided network and offering comprehensive operational guidance. Her responsibilities encompass not only exploring new markets but also optimizing operational efficiency in existing markets, ensuring business owners maintain competitive advantages in dynamic business environments.
