About
With the increasing number of advancements in fields such as AI, biotech, the suite of applications known as the 'fourth industrial revolution and the energy transition, Chinese government policies have shifted their focus from economic growth towards technological development. Given that scientific research is at the center of US-China commerce and competition, it is important to understand how this shift will affect you and your business. What are China's policies on science, how are research funds being distributed and how do these interact with US government policies?
To answer these questions, AmCham Shanghai's Future Leaders Committee is hosting a presentation and discussion taking place on February 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Room. In his presentation, Jacob Dreyer, a writer and editor at Springer Nature, will share an overview of how Chinese policies on science are changing and what the changes will mean for your business.
