Catherine Yang, Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs of EF Kids & Teens, is in charge of its government relations, public relations and CSR in China. During her 13 years with EF Kids & teens, based on her in-depth understanding of the market situation as well as the development and changes of national and local policies, she’s been helping EF Kids & Teens to hold a leading position in China’s enrichment training sector and continue to be one of the favorite educational institutions in the minds of Chinese students and parents.

Mr. Lao, Robin is a partner in JunHe’s Guangzhou office. He specializes in capital markets, M&A and education
and has extensive experience in the areas of equity and debt financing, overseas M&A, corporate investment and financing.

In the field of education legal services, Mr. Lao, Robin has provided legal services for clients in fields such as
private schools, overseas schools, Hong Kong and Macau universities, training institutions and child institutions. His services include listing and financing, business and equity restructuring, financing and M&A compliance advice, Sino-foreign cooperation and brand introduction.

Mr. Lao, Robin graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with an LLB degree in 2005 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School in 2010.

Van Fleet’s Asia career spans ten years in Japan (1991- 2000) and eighteen in China (to present). He has extensive experience throughout the region in corporate strategy, business development, marketing and consultancy.

He currently serves as Director, Corporate Globalization, and adjunct faculty, Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a campus where he’s been based since 2003. For nearly a decade through 2017, Van Fleet also served as Assistant Dean, USC Marshall School of Business, and Executive Director, USC-SJTU Global Executive MBA in Shanghai.
