Effective internal communication and information sharing among local GA staff, business units, and headquarters are key factors contributing to business success in China. It could align and engage internal stakeholders and forge a consistent top-down approach. Without effective internal communications, companies could be vulnerable to government and communications crisis.

But how can GR practitioners effectively communicate internally and positively influence company policies? What are the best strategies to communicate with headquarters and China-based leaders? What are the do's and don'ts in internal and external communications?

AmCham Shanghai presents our second GA training session this year on internal communication and how to talk to the headquarters, presented by Ms. Su Wen and Ms. Heather Deng from Top Word Consulting on July 28, Wednesday at 1:30 – 4:30 PM at AmCham Shanghai's Conference Center.

Our trainers have over thirty years of experience in managing Government & Public Affairs for multi-national companies (MNCs) in China. They will train participants on how to communicate effectively with headquarters, other business units and the China leadership team. In their presentations, they will share basic principles, best practices and unique tips of internal communication and engagement. The training will also incorporate case studies and simulations to give participants hands on experience in how to interact with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
