On Thursday, Nov. 29th, Patrick Burke, President and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC U.S.A, will offer "A perspective from New York, America's business center, on US-China trade frictions and how those tensions are shaping both business strategy and the health of the U.S. economy."
Please join us for this lunchtime event in which Burke will address several issues of direct consequence to Chamber members, including how American firms feel about trade with China, how protectionism is affecting their businesses in terms of their outlook on growth and trade, and how the protectionist environment is impacting supply chains and supply chain investment. Burke will also speak about developments in the U.S. economy.
Given HSBC's position as one of the worlds' largest trade finance banks, as well as it historical and continuing role in financing some of Asia's largest companies, the bank continues to be viewed as reliable barometer of trade flows as well as the health of many Asian economies.
