On February 27th, the Advertising Regulation Department of China's State Administration for Industry & Commerce (ๅฝๅฎถๅทฅๅ่กๆฟ็ฎก็ๆปๅฑๅนฟๅ็็ฃ็ฎก็ๅธ) announced its 2018 work plan, which focuses on enhancing supervision of online advertising, specifically in social media. The work plan identified healthcare, food, drug and financial sectors as priorities for supervision. SAIC will work with various government sectors to inspect mainstream media and websites for compliance through its advertising monitoring platform and the national internet advertising monitoring center.
