The AmCham Shanghai CSR Committee, together with SynTao, is pleased to bring to you, on July 9th, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, the second workshop, Win-win with SDGs: How to drive business growth with social innovation, of the CSR Committee UN SDGs series. In this workshop, you will be hearing cutting-edge ideas from thought leaders from SynTao and the CSR Committee and participating in engaging discussions with your fellow colleagues and peers from other companies. The second workshop invites companies and innovation incubators to share their projects and experience. Attendees will participate in a facilitated discussion on how a company can use UN SDGs to encourage innovation within its system.

    Dr. Peiyuan Guo

    General Manager at SynTao

    Dr. Guo Peiyuan, who holds a Ph.D. in Management from Tsinghua University, is the general manager of SynTao and chairman of SynTao Green Finance. Dr. Guo Peiyuan continuously focuses on research and practices about corporate social responsibility (CSR) and socially responsible investment (SRI), with abundant experience on research, training and consulting services. Now SynTao has become a leading CSR consulting company in China with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Washington D.C.

    Dr. Guo Peiyuan has served for over one hundred companies, governments, and social organizations home and abroad, including China Mobile, China Pacific Insurance, Amway China, Volkswagen, International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), etc. He has served as a judge in multiple CSR awards. Now he also teaches MBA course Business Performance and Sustainability in School of Economics and Management , Tsinghua University, and teaches international student course Social Innovation and CSR in School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University.

    He also serves as consultant, trainer or member in many organizations, including the followings.

    Xiaojing Fei

    Co-founder & Managing Partner of Impact Hub Shanghai

    Xiaojing is originally from Jiangsu, China and has lived in Shanghai since 2014. With an environment science bachelor degree (Beijing Forestry University), Xiaojing graduated from the Masters Program ‘Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability’ at the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden.

    She trained as a sustainability and leadership facilitator. Her methodological expertise of group facilitation is extensive, including Art of Hosting (AOH Karlskrona), Theory U (Presencening Institute@MIT), Design Thinking and further approaches.

    She has a rich experience in sustainability management consulting, environment policy research and multi-stakeholder process hosting. Before starting Impact Hub Shanghai, Xiaojing worked in both private and non-profit sectors on both environmental and social responsibility projects from an analytical and strategy advisory point of view: first for a climate change advocacy NGO in China, then for the consulting company Syntao and recently Ernst and Young.
