Event Details

A sharp increase in Covid cases and zero-Covid policies implemented across China resulted in massive shutdowns of city, ports, and business operations in Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta. Authorities and enterprises in the region, which is China's manufacturing hub, have been hit hard by the latest resurgence of COVID-19. With no movement of goods, prices increase, labor shortages occur, backlogs at ports increase, and manufacturing operations stall as inventories deplete.

AmCham Shanghai Nanjing Center invites you to attend the member briefing (online): COVID and Supply Chain Updates on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Jarrod Ward, Chair of the Supply Chain Committee will provide updates on the situation and changes in supply chain condition within the YRD area as well as around the world. He will then take questions and have a discussion with our members.

This event is held virtually. The Zoom link will be provided via email once registration is completed.
