As COVID-19 continues to disrupt everyday life and business operations across China, AmCham Shanghai has been closely tracking the impact of the epidemic on our member companies. On February 17 AmCham Shanghai released a survey of 109 companies with manufacturing operations in Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing and the wider Yangtze River Delta. The purpose was to provide a clear picture of the operating environment as companies begin to re-open. This followed an earlier survey of 127 companies that was released on February 7, which focused on quantitative issues such as the coronavirus's expected impact on corporate revenues and Chinese GDP, as well as workplace issues such as travel, work from home policies and repatriation of foreign staff.

AmCham Shanghai will conduct a webinar presenting the results of both surveys this Thursday February 20 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm by Communications Director Ian Driscoll. Mark Gilbraith, China Consulting, Consumer, Health and Technology Industry Leader, PwC China, will then join Ian for audience Q&A.This webinar is on the record. Please email daniel.rechtschaffen@amcham-shanghai.org if you would like a recording of the webinar.
