AmCham Shanghai's Financial Services Committee (FSC) will be hosting an Open Webinar event on Fri, June 17 from 12:00-1:30 pm.


Our guest speaker will be Ms. Yuanyuan Lin, former head of McKinsey FinTech Accelerator. She will guide us on the digital transformation journey from the senior leader's perspective. Topics will range from initial project scope definition to critical questions for progress measurement. Yuanyuan will highlight useful do's-and-don'ts, and share stories of her experience from previous client engagements. In short, this event will be a frank and direct discussion of when digital transformations are appropriate given the direction of an organization.


Background

The FSC is the Chamber's committee for members interested in and involved with the financial services space. It provides an off-the-record forum for discussion of relevant topics spanning banking, securities, insurance, asset management, venture capital/private equity, corporate finance, and fintech.

    Yuanyuan Lin

    Yuanyuan Lin has over 10 years of experience in digital transformation. She was formerly the Head of the Fintech Accelerator where she coached clients in adopting technology that creates an instant business impact. Prior to McKinsey, she worked for Microsoft as a Program Director and served as Head of the Shanghai office for a tech unicorn where she was responsible for AI, ML, IoT, and Blockchain. Before entering the tech world, Yuanyuan was a social news producer and later an O2O entrepreneur. Yuanyuan was trained as an English broadcaster at the Communication University of China.
