AmCham Shanghai's Marketing & Media Committee invites you to the "COVID Impact Tracker Report: Brands & Consumers" on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm via Zoom webinar.


China continues to be impacted by the Omicron COVID-19 subvariant. Daily cases in Shanghai continue to trend downwards after a month of city-wide lockdown. While new cases were discovered in another ten cities, none of them has seen exponential growth in cases.


Brands have responded to logistical issues, pivoting to group buying, private traffic, and new ways of engagement in restricted cities. Consumers are looking for home comforts with resurgent needs for carbonated soft drinks, snacks, and daily hygiene products.


The COVID Impact Tracker report serves as an update on the current situation and the early impact on brands and consumers, tracking the current situation, consumption impact, and consumer sentiment.

    Jeanette comes with 15 years of experience, including 10 years of insights and analytics experience. She is an experienced strategist that creates data-based, insight-oriented, actionable strategies that impact long-term brand and business outcomes.

    Jeanette has worked across strategy, planning, and insights roles in multiple markets in APAC, with previous roles being Strategy Lead at Wavemaker Australia, and Executive Director Marketing Sciences at OMD for 4 years. While most of her time has been spent in media agencies, Jeanette also has experience working in a digital agency having worked for 5 years at Isobar.

    She enjoys the application of data and helping brands translate data into stories that sell, powering growth. Jeanette works across clients in the Publicis Groupe to drive data thinking and solutions.
