China's 2022 economic outlook remains unclear. Shifts in China's regulatory approach, geopolitical tensions and COVID uncertainties are putting pressures on the Chinese economy and leading many to wonder about the direction of China's economy in 2022. To help members better understand China's economic outlook and the potential impact on business, AmCham Shanghai is pleased to host the Rhodium Group for a webinar on China Economic Outlook in 2022. Dr. Agatha Kratz, associate director at the Rhodium Group, will discuss China's growth prospects in 2022 and share the latest findings from the China Pathfinder, an ongoing research project by the Atlantic Council's GeoEconomics Center and Rhodium Group that measures China's system relative to advanced market economies. For more information on the China Pathfinder, please visit the Rhodium Group China Pathfinder website.

This webinar is the first of the AmCham Shanghai Government Policy Support (GPS) briefing. The GPS series brings together different voices to deep-dive into Chinese government policy and its effects on American companies in China. The policy webinars will focus on US-China relations, business in China and regulatory environment in China.
