Ms. Wang Jing is the Senior Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Consulate General in Wuhan. She joined the Consulate in 2010 as one of its first Chinese employees.

Ms. Wang was also the first person hired at the Foreign Commercial Service office at the Consulate, set up in 2015. As the Senior Commercial Specialist, Ms. Wang promotes U.S. exports to Central China and supports greenfield investment from Central China to the United States. Ms. Wang has particular expertise in the Aviation; Architecture, Design and Construction; Environmental; and Franchise sectors.

Ms. Wang’s previous experience includes work as a Senior Consultant at New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting Co, Ltd. and as a Lecturer in English at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Wang has a M.A. in China-US Relations from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where she worked as a part time volunteer at Mauna Kea Summit Visitor Station. She received her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Central China Normal University. Ms. Wang is married and has one son.
