The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Suzhou Center cordially invites you to join the Suzhou GM Networking | Beyond the Ballot: Midterm Outlook, US-China Implications, and a Debrief on the DC Doorknock on Tuesday, October 20, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W Hotel Suzhou.

The session will cover:

  • The electoral outlook: Where the parties stand, likely election scenarios, and what the results could indicate for U.S. politics over the remainder of the current administration and heading into the 2028 presidential election.
  • Why businesses should care: What the election means for U.S. companies operating in China and Chinese companies looking to invest or expand in the U.S. – and why the longer-term direction of U.S.-China policy is likely to matter more than the election result itself.
  • The US-China outlook: What is likely to change, what is likely to remain constant, and the policy and regulatory developments shaping the bilateral relationship over the next two to three years.

Note: This event is open only to companies' general managers and above.
