Join AmCham Shanghai Suzhou Center's Second Annual Women's Leadership Conference on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mega Room 1, W Suzhou (see venue).


The 2024 Women's Leadership Conference gathers outstanding female leaders and business professionals. The conference's theme will focus on Women in the workplace. The conference will feature inspirational keynotes and a panel for leaders to share their views on how women can thrive in a digital age that AI accelerates. There will be plenty of networking and learning opportunities to connect with like-minded business and industry professionals.


This year's conference will gather attendees who show their support for greater gender diversity, inclusion, and the advancement of women to the ranks of senior leadership. The conference is a great opportunity for companies to get involved with senior executives from different industries and fields, while also showing their commitment to empowering women's careers and leadership and pushing forward gender equality in business.


Everyone is welcome! This conference is for anyone who supports workplace diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Penny Chu
Penny has over 20 years of experience in M&A advisory practice in both mainland China and overseas. Before joining Deloitte China, she worked in the Deloitte Australia M&A team, based in Sydney. Penny's job is primarily to provide financial advisory support to MNCs, PE, and Chinese clients with their investment decisions in China and globally. Her specialized sector is manufacturing. Traveling is her favorite hobby, her passion is to bring my son to visit different places and gain exposure to cultures and diversity. Graduated from AGSM (UNSW), an Australia-leading business school with a degree in Master of Business Administration. She was also selected to complete an exchange semester with the Kellogg School of Management in the United States. Member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Member of CPA Australia.

Elizabeth Beatty
Elizabeth Beatty is an international educator with 28 years of experience as an instructional coach, administrator, and consultant. Originally from Ohio, she has worked in the USA, Italy and China. She holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership, is trained in Cognitive Coaching, and completed studies on differentiation and Universal Design for Learning through Harvard University. Elizabeth works with teachers and administrators on implementing transformative instruction, focused on differentiation and inclusion practices to serve a wide range of learning abilities and languages in the international classroom. After leaving the United States, Elizabeth spent thirteen years as Elementary and Middle School Principal at the American School of Milan and nine years as the Director of Teaching and Learning at the International School in Genoa. She is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning at Suzhou Singapore International School in Suzhou, China where she has lived since 2020 with her husband and two sons.
