As global trade becomes more complex, companies operating in and out of China are navigating a wide range of evolving trade rules, regulatory expectations, and supply chain considerations. Decisions around sourcing, manufacturing, and trade routes are increasingly influenced by tariffs, export controls, customs requirements, and differing regulatory approaches across jurisdictions.

This session will discuss how these dynamics can affect China-based companies, particularly in the context of supply chain adjustments such as diversification, contract manufacturing, and multi-country operations. We will share perspectives on how regulators in different markets may view common trade practices, and where companies may face heightened scrutiny.

The session will also touch on practical considerations when trade activity draws questions from regulators or business partners. This includes how to recognize potential areas of concern, approaches to risk monitoring, and how compliance can be a business-enabler.

Attendees will gain a grounded perspective on managing trade and compliance considerations in China-linked supply chains.
