Qinzhou City has the largest free trade pilot zone in Guangxi, and it's also the province's only free trade zone near the sea. Qinzhou is the gateway port of China's new international land-sea trade channel and is also a demonstration zone for China-ASEAN cooperation. Both of its geographical location preferential policies are unique. This event will give you an in-depth understanding of the latest technology and industrial development in Qinzhou, get an idea of the business environment there, establish contacts with the local government, and grasp first-hand policy trends and investment opportunities.

Please Note:

• Accommodation is included; participants are responsible for their own roundtrip transportation from Shanghai to Nanning, Guangxi (closest airport to Qinzhou). Please check below in the agenda for the recommended flight. Pick-up shuttle bus will be provided based on the recommended flight arrival time; if you choose to book other flights, please arrive no later than the recommended flight.
• This business delegation is hosted by the government, so all registration will have to wait for government approval. You will receive a confirmation email sent from AmCham after approval, unapproved registrations will all receive a "decline" email. This event is only open to MNCs' management personnel.

About the "New Western Land-Sea Corridor":

In 2019, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Overall Plan for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor". The Beibu Gulf where Qinzhou City is located is backed by the southwest, faces Southeast Asia, and is adjacent to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It is an important strategic hub of the country's Belt and Road Initiative. The "New Western Land-Sea Corridor" is an important part of the China-ASEAN strategic cooperation demonstration project. The channel connects provinces and cities in central and western regions such as Sichuan, Chongqing, and Yunnan to Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other ASEAN countries and regions through the coastal ports of Guangxi Beibu Gulf by using various modes of transportation such as railways, highways, water transportation, and aviation. The cargo turnover time is about 2 weeks shorter than going to sea via the eastern region, which greatly reduces logistics costs and promotes the development of economic and trade cooperation between regions.

关于"西部陆海新通道"：

2019年国家发展改革委印发了《西部陆海新通道总体规划》，钦州市所处的北部湾背靠大西南，面向东南亚，毗邻粤港澳，是国家一带一路的重要战略枢纽。"西部陆海新通道"是中国-东盟战略合作示范项目的重要组成部分。该通道利用铁路、公路、水运、航空等多种运输方式，将四川、重庆、云南等中西部地区省市，通过广西北部湾沿海沿边口岸连接新加坡、马来西亚、越南等东盟国家地区，货物周转运行时间比经东部地区出海节约2周左右，大幅度降低物流成本促进地区间经贸合作发展。
