This session aims to offer knowledge sharing on common mental health issues during the pandemic, tips for post-lockdown adjustment, HR best practices for managing staff and identifying employees in need, and adapting for future crises and challenges.

    Mental Health Psychotherapist at Jiahui Health

    Ms. Qiongru HUANG serves as a Mental Health Psychotherapist at Jiahui Health. She gained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of York in the UK, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University in the United States. Qiongru has gained certificates of National (China) Mental Health Counselor and National (China) Psychotherapist, from the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security and the National Health and Family Planning Commission of China.


    Prior to joining Jiahui Health, Qiongru worked in a mental health hospital and gained clinical experience treating a variety of psychological problems. She has worked in both outpatient and residential settings, with patients with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, trauma, disordered eating behaviors, adjustment issues, school refusing, and interpersonal issues. Her clients include adolescents, adults, LGBT individuals, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

    Qiongru’s primary approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and she also integrates strategies of the Mindfulness approach, Psycho-education, and Interpersonal approach to best fit the needs of each client. Her clinical interests have focused on anxiety, depression, Eating disorders, and adolescent school refusing issues.

    Whitney graduated from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology with Bachelor's degree in Science in Shanghai, China, and obtained a master's degree in Human Resources from Jon Huntsman Business School of Utah State University in Utah State, United States.

    Whitney is a seasoned HR professional, she has over 27 years of Human Resources management experience in China and the Asia Pacific with NMCs like Motorola, Standard Chartered Bank, Owens Corning, Sulzer, Danaher, Eaton, etc.

    While Whitney is an HR leader with strong business partnering experience, she is also specialized in Compensation & Benefits, Organization Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee/Industrial Relations. Also, she is strong with business & HR strategy, merge & acquisition, and has successfully led and closed the deals in multiple countries. She has a track record to deal with union relations/strikes in various countries.

    Whitney is certified with Strengthfinder, MBTI, Insights, and Hogan assessments. She is also an experienced coach.
