    Center at Orlando Magic

Tracing his roots to Harlem in the heart of New York City, Mo Bamba spent his childhood playing hoop at the famous Rucker Park and Kingdome courts where he developed a defensive edge that would become his calling card. He went on to star at the University of Texas, where he led the Longhorns to the NCAA tournament and led all college players in both blocks and rebounds. The Orlando Magic then selected him #6 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Mo’s goals are as lofty as his standing 9’6″ reach and NBA-leading 7’10” wingspan. In 2017 as a high school senior, Mo traveled to China to volunteer and learn more the culture. He spent mornings shoveling and delivering 70-pound bags of coal to villagers at the Love & Hope non-profit, afternoons hosting student assemblies at several schools in Beijing and Shanghai, and evenings meeting with executives at NBA China and other prominent sports organizations.

Mo has since built up his fan base in China to more than 500,000 Weibo followers. He is excited to return to China in June to re-connect with his friends and fans there, and promote the Under Armour brand as one of their signature athletes alongside Steph Curry and Joel Embiid.
