Mr. Feng XUE was graduated from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade with a bachelor degree of Business English in 2005 and began his career since then, and graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a master degree of Public Administration in 2014. Mr. XUE has worked for Department of WTO Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, and was appointed as Deputy Director of Department of Trade in Services, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce (During 2015-2017, he was also appointed as Assistant General Manager of National Base for International Cultural Trade (Shanghai) as a personnel exchange program). Now he has been appointed to President of Shanghai Foreign Investment Development Board (Invest Shanghai).

- was engaged in local governments financing related work;
- worked in Shanghai Pudong Financial Bureau for over 10 years, was responsible for inviting of and serving for government financial enterprises, and invited and served for over 200 licensed financial institutions;
- participated in preliminary policy-making of multiple financial supporting policies of Shanghai Pudong, including policies on promotion of developing financial sector and equity investment enterprises, and promotion of listing of middle and small-sized companies;
- was responsible for financial supporting work for multiple industries such as securities, fund, private fund, and financial leasing companies;
- was engaged in inviting multiple foreign financial investors such as JPMorgan, Blackstone, AXA, Bain, Capital, TPG, and APAX;

Mr. Geng is also a member of the International Law Committee of American Bar Association and the International Investment
Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.

Jens Ewert, is a Partner with Deloitte based in Shanghai office and China Firm since 2002, and has over 30 years of working experience in the professional services. For many years already, he is a member of Deloitte China Eastern Region Management team.

His responsibilities include our services to Multinational Clients (MNC) in China and some selected clients across the Asia Pacific region. This covers our Advisory services (Consulting, Financial Advisory, Tax & Legal and Risk Advisory) as well as our Audit & Assurance. Jens is also the Deloitte China Life Science & Health Care Leader – covering an industry team comprising over 700+ partners and professionals focused on working with Life Science & Pharma companies as well as Healthcare and related services groups.

Jens is currently a Board member at the EUCCC Shanghai Chapter, and the EU Chamber National Chair of the Investment Working group since 2016. He was member of the Board of Trustees at the French School in Shanghai starting in 2004 and the Chairman of the Board between 2007 until mid-2015.

Throughout his career, other than China, he has been living and working in France, Hungary, the US, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Jens holds German and French nationalities, and calls France – beyond Shanghai - his home. He received his education in France (Paris), University Paris Dauphine and the Institut des Sciences Politiques de Paris, and holds a CPA Australia license. He is a passionate Tennis and Golf player in Shanghai, when time permits.

Mr. Boza is a construction professional with over 10 years of construction and project management experience in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. He has worked in projects for Fortune 500 companies & Multinational Corporations such as Walmart, Carrefour, Starbucks, Swire Pacific and Ford Motors.

Mr. Boza is now working as a project manager at Shanghai Lingang Special Area Economic Development Co., Ltd, owned by Lingang Group a state-owned enterprise undertaking an important role in the development of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area. His core responsibility is to promote Lingang Special Area services to investors.

Mr. Boza, a US national, holds a Bachelor degree in Construction Science from the department of Construction Science in the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University, fluent in Spanish and French.

Ivy Yu Yang, Managing Director, Strategic Investment of Dentons Europe. Ms. Ivy Yu Yang boasts extensive working in governmental sectors both in China and Europe.

She worked as Europe Director of Event Department of the Shanghai Bureau of World Expo (2007-2011) and later Deputy Director of National Promotion Department and Plenipotentiary of Board for Asia of the governmental Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (2011-2016), Secretary of China-Central and Eastern Europe Investment Mechanism (2012-2016), Senior Advisor of EY.

She was awarded Excellence Award of Shanghai Bureau of World Expo; Medal of Merits, Ministry of Culture, The Republic of Poland; DAAD Public Policy and Good Governance Scholarship, The Federal Republic of Germany. She graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with Bachelor of law and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, MBA.

Mr. Xiaosong Li is the senior manager of National Health Commission of the PRC, Senior Consultant of Insurance Association of China and Senior Expert in Medical Marketing & Human Resource industry. He used to serve as deputy general manager to promote the deep integration and practical implementation of the American HMO model in China.

He was the deputy general manager of the medical division of Tahoe Group, leading the team to negotiate with the United Medical Group, Hong Kong Dah Sing Insurance. He is responsible for the construction of the new Shanghai Cornell International Hospital project, the marketing system construction and operation management of Beijing Yuho Hospital.

Prior to joining the US China Business Council as a Business Advisory Services Manager, Chris spent several years in government translation and China business consulting, where he specialized in market intelligence services. He is fluent in Mandarin, having studied at the Defense Language Institute and University of Hawaii.

While there, he participated in the year-long Chinese Language Flagship Program at Nanjing University, focusing his studies on China legal issues. Chris now manages USCBC’s transportation and ecommerce portfolios as part of our Business Advisory Services team.
