AmCham Shanghai's Trade & Investment Center invites you to our Industrial Park Series: Yangkou Port, Jiangsu Province, to be held on Mar. 28 (Tuesday), 3:30-6:30pm at the The Langham Shanghai Xintiandi (2nd Floor). Event topics will cover high-end equipment manufacturing industry development trend, global energy crisis and green energy transition, changes and opportunities in the manufacturing industry chain layout. Leaders from Rudong County and the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu Province and experts will share their insights into potential investment opportunities and information about the existing preferential policies for companies in the region. About Yangkou Port:

Yangkou Port is a typical offshore deep-water port located in Changsha Town, Rudong County, Jiangsu Province. Yangkou Port is in the north wing of the Yangtze River mouth and the west bank of the Yellow Sea, facing Korea and Japan across the sea, and connecting with Shanghai and Southern Jiangsu across the river, connecting the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River provinces upstream. Yangkou Port is a deep-water port site with few 100,000-300,000-ton wharfs on the nearly 1000-kilometer coastline of Jiangsu. With the opening of Suzhou-Nantong Bridge, the accelerated construction of external collection and transportation systems, such as ocean railway and port expressway, and the integration of Yangtze River Delta and the construction of Shanghai international shipping Center, the coastal development of Jiangsu has become China's national strategy, therefore Yangkou Port has entered a "golden opportunity period". In the future, it will become an important energy base along the Jiangsu coast, a modern petrochemical base of international standard and a comprehensive logistics center of the Yangtze River Delta.
