Event Details

AmCham Shanghai's Marketing & Media Committee and Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Committee invite you to the "Communicating your ESG strategy in China" hybrid online webinar and offline event on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am.

China's green transition creates unprecedented opportunities for companies with effective environmental, social, and governance strategies and communications. The right messages and engagement strategies can help businesses build stronger relationships with their investors, Chinese consumers, and policymakers – supporting both their valuation and growth.

As consumers give greater weight to corporate behavior in purchasing decisions and government prioritizes green development and digital transformation, companies with strong ESG communications strategies will benefit from new opportunities. Meanwhile, new ESG disclosure regulations introduced by stock exchanges in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and elsewhere will become the focus of investors and business partners when considering their investment and commercial relationships.

Inviting experts from consultancies and brands to share their expertise and experience, this event will provide an update on the latest trends and considerations and provide practical advice to help communicators develop effective ESG communications strategies in China.
