In the afternoon of HR conference comprises a series of workshops. Workshops will be held from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm on a range of topics.


The workshops are open to relevant HR professionals free of charge. AmCham Shanghai reserves the right to approve or deny registrations as seen fit.

Workshop C: Transforming Workforce Challenges


The workshop will focus on the impact of global talent shortages, headcount reduction, and the changing needs of the workplace. We'll explore strategies to help L&D departments effectively realign their training goals. Our session highlights the importance of upskilling through personalized language and intercultural training. Attendees will gain insights into enhancing team cohesion, productivity, and engagement in an agile global business environment.


Workshop D: Develop Growth Mindset for Gen. Z 新生代员工成长型心智的培养



由于在数字时代成长起来,Z世代有独特的职场行为和期望。采用成长型思维模式可以帮助Z世代这一群体在繁忙且充满压力的工作环境中解决自己的问题,并提高员工的生产力和领导能力。


成长型思维模式不仅能增强应对挑战的能力,还能将它与随之而来的机会联系起来。成长型思维模式能创造出一种更坚韧的态度来应对挑战,并灌输这样的理解:糟糕的表现是可以通过学习来改善的。拥有成长型思维模式的人能够认识到,专注于努力比固有(固定)的思维方式更有助于取得成果。

    Partner at Beijing Labours Consulting

    Ms. Liu has more than 25 years of experience, working for DHL, Total, UTC and other large foreign-funded enterprises in human resources management positions, once working as the UTC Business Unit General Manager, Source Photonics Sales Vice President and other business management positions.

    Ms. Liu has strong project control skills, and her years of experience as a foreign manager have given her the ability to communicate and negotiate directly with foreign decision makers, as well as rapid and in-depth insight into different industries.

    Ms. Liu holds a Master's degree in Management from Beijing Business University.

    Angel has more than 15 years of experience in HR general functions as head and more than 5 years of experience as a full-time litigator focus on employment law. She has strong expertise in Personnel Optimization, Structural Reorganization, Performance Scheme Improvement and Organizational Efficiency Optimization.

    Angel holds a Master Degree in Management Business Administration and is certified as HRMD, Tax Adviser and Bar(China) .

    Sales Director of Learnship APAC

    Charissa has over a decade of experience delivering corporate solutions across various industries. In her current role, which she has held for over three years, Charissa has been instrumental in driving growth for Learnship's APAC business. Leveraging her expertise in online training, SaaS industry, and remote working, she has successfully navigated the unique challenges of cross-cultural communication and virtual collaboration.
    Before joining Learnship, Charissa spent seven years in commercial real estate, where she provided strategic solutions to both multinational corporations and SMEs. Her diverse experience spans working with leading international firms from Australia, the U.S., and Germany, including a former unicorn company.
    Charissa holds a Master’s degree in Translating and Interpreting from RMIT University and began her career as a court interpreter in Melbourne before returning to China. Her workshop at the conference will address the challenges of workforce transformation, sharing valuable case studies and insights drawn from her work at Learnship.

    Cloud has working experience for MNCs for more than 20 years. His L&D experience mainly focuses on leadership, communication skills, and performance coaching to provide effective solutions to organizational issues and improve performance.
    Cloud is a sophisticated trainer and facilitator who uses David Kolb’s experiential learning for various topics, putting theory, knowledge, skills, processes, tools, and practice together with fun, so that participants would gain practical skills with actions to be taken after training.
    Cloud is good at delivering sessions in both English and Mandarin. He is a certified trainer for several professional training techniques as well as an ICF Certified Coach.
    Cloud is an advocate and practitioner for the growth mindset, who is committed to helping and influencing people from all walks of life to learn, understand, and accept the growth mindset philosophy to become lifelong learners in their work and life.
