As industries across the world continue to adopt artificial intelligence, people are increasingly wondering how their business operations will be affected. This is especially true in China, where a growing government policy regime that aims to foster indigenous AI adoption and innovation will undoubtedly have a major impact on supply chains. To help companies understand the AI landscape in China and how it affects the supply chain, AmCham Shanghai is pleased to present a Government Policy Support (GPS) workshop on how AI is disrupting supply chains in China.

The workshop will begin with a high-level overview of Chinese AI policies by APCO Senior Director and Co-lead of Global Tech Practice Bruce Fu, followed by a presentation on how AI is disrupting supply chains by Enics Demand and Supply Chain Manager Francis Zhao. Both presenters will then join FedEx Regional Vice President Jimmy Chen on a panel discussion to discuss AI's impact on specific industries.

This event is an AmCham Shanghai Government Policy Support (GPS) workshop. The GPS series brings together different voices to deep-dive into Chinese government policy and its effects on American companies in China. In 2019 the program is focused across three tracks: U.S.-China Relations; Supply Chains; and R&D and Innovation. For more information about the GPS program, please contact Daniel Rechtschaffen at daniel.rechtschaffen@amcham-shanghai.org. This program is off record, and seating is limited.
