With tension the new theme of US-China relations, many people worry that it will gradually erode economic and business ties between the two countries. To accommodate the new paradigm in US-China relations, business communities in the US and China have adjusted their views and business outlook. To help members better understand the shifting nature of US-China relations, AmCham Shanghai is organizing a briefing by Scott Kennedy, senior adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Mr. Kennedy will provide an in-person overview of the current US sentiments on US-China relations as well as the possible impact of the 20th Party Congress on the bilateral commercial relationship.
