As the most high-profile political meeting, the "Two Sessions" are set to open on March 4 in Beijing this year. Over the course of the convention, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the National People's Congress (NPC) will discuss and decide the development goals for 2023. In particular, the session will determine policy directions that guide both the political and economic agenda of the government.
