AmCham Shanghai is partnering with the Brunswick Group to host an in-person workshop on managing risk for U.S. businesses in China during the run-up to this year's U.S. presidential elections.


This event aims to help attendees understand the impact of the upcoming presidential elections and associated shifts in public sentiment on U.S. companies in China. It will also provide a practical framework for dealing with political risk stemming from the 2024 U.S. Election. The session's content will incorporate the latest edition of Brunswick's sentiment survey and their extensive experience in U.S.-China issue management.


The event will begin with an introductory session on U.S. political dynamics, U.S.-China public sentiment, and issue management fundamentals. This will be followed by an interactive workshop to help companies navigate a range of potential election-related scenarios, including regulatory and reputational challenges.
